The folks at Chipotle Mexican Grill recently contacted me about their ongoing “No Junk” campaign: for every 100,000 junk emails sent to nojunk@chipotlejunk.com, Chipotle will donate $10,000 to the Lunch Boxwhich will help give approximately 32 million school children nationwide access to 100 junk-free recipes created by Chef Ann Cooper.
The “No Junk” campaign will run through August or until Chipotle reaches its goal of 500,000 junk e-mails received (and neither your email address nor the content of the emails sent will be captured or read). So please take a moment to go into your spam folder and forward your junk mail for a good cause.
By the way, until I was contacted by them, I wasn’t aware that Chipotle “was the first national restaurant company to commit to serving naturally raised meat, local and organically grown produce, and the first to serve dairy (cheese and sour cream) made with milk from cows that are not treated with the synthetic hormone rBGH.”
Gracias, Chipotle!
