Normally when I offer readers a free book giveaway, I first share a brief review. But today’s book, Best Lunch Box Ever: Ideas and Recipes for School Lunches Kids Will Love, is so popular that it’s sold out in bookstores and I can’t get my hands on a copy!
The fact that the book is in its third printing since its release in July tells you how good it is, but for many of you, all you really need to know is that Best Lunch Box ever is the creation of Katie Morford. She’s the talented food writer and dietitian behind the popular Mom’s Kitchen Handbook (subtitled: Raising Fresh-Food Kids in a French-Fried World), a blog featuring healthful recipes, beautiful photography and sound advice for busy families trying to eat well.
I’ll let the Boston Globe‘s recent rave review stand in for my own today, and instead I’ll cut right to the giveaway. One lucky Lunch Tray reader can win a free copy of Best Lunch Box Ever by leaving a comment below by 6pm CST, Friday, October 11th. You can tell me why you’d like to win or you can just say hi. I’ll use a random number generator after the comment period closes to select one lucky winner and if you comment twice (e.g., to respond to another reader’s comment), I’ll use the number of your first comment to enter you in the drawing. I’ll email you directly if you win and announce the winner on TLT’s Facebook page, too. (This giveaway is open only to U.S. residents.)
