On tap for today’s Buffet . . . nothing!
I’m skipping the Buffet today to ask you a question. It’s not so easy to come up with news items on Fridays that aren’t big enough to merit a real post but also aren’t so trivial that they make your eyes roll. For that reason, I’m flirting with the idea of ditching the whole tradition of the Lunch Tray Friday Buffet.
But before I do that, I thought I’d get some reader feedback. Would you mind taking one sec to answer this poll?

I’ll let you know the results next week. In the meantime, have a great weekend, everyone! More Lunch Tray on Monday . . .

I didn’t want to vote “ditch it” because I often enjoy the things you come up with, but just a normal post on Fridays would be fine too.

I agree with Renee. Or you could switch to a monthly buffet.

Do what you need to do to maintain your sanity!
This is why I don’t commit to a particular type of post on a daily basis (my sister keeps telling me I should). I don’t like feeling the pressure and I’m not so hot at keeping it up!

You are so right, Mrs. Q. Every time I do set myself up for a regular, weekly post, I often regret it!

Ditto what Mrs. Q said. You have to do what feels right. I have a feature called “Picture this,” which is a mostly picture/few words post. Initially I envisioned it as a weekly feature, then I realized that was not going to work for me. So now it’s an occasional feature, and that’s cool.
If the buffet feels like a burden, I think you have your answer. You could always do occasional round-ups (not on a set schedule). And since you’re trying to use your Facebook page more, you could also send those tidbits out that way.
