Last week I was interviewed on Breaking Through, the Moms Rising radio show hosted by Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, one of the organization’s co-founders.
I’d come on the show to talk about my current campaign against the use of a McDondald’s “nutrition education” video in schools, but we also discussed other issues such as children and food insecurity, what parents can do to improve their kids’ school food environment and more. The 14-minute segment is the first one of the episode (called “Food for Thought!”) and can be found on both the Moms Rising site and on iTunes.
Many thanks to Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner and Moms Rising for the opportunity!
