My first book, Kid Food: The Challenge of Feeding Children in a Highly Processed World, was released by Oxford University Press on November 1, 2019. It’s my attempt to offer parents and other interested readers a wide-angle view of how we feed kids in America today—and how we could do better.
I’m thrilled to report that Kid Food has already been named “One of the Best Books of 2019 (So Far)” by Real Simple magazine and it’s received praise from food policy leaders such as Alice Waters, Mark Bittman, Marion Nestle, and Eric Schlosser, as well as food experts like Gail Simmons and Ellie Krieger.
Kid Food has also garnered favorable coverage in the New York Times, Food Politics, Civil Eats, Heated, Texas Monthly, the Houston Chronicle, and many other outlets.

THANK YOU for your interest in Kid Food! 😀
